What's Inside Those Glass Front Kitchen Cabinets?

I love the look of glass doors on kitchen cabinets!

It opens up the space dramatically and allows you to put your favorite dishes on display. You can add color as well as interest to your kitchen. If you currently have solid-panel cabinet doors, it is an easy kitchen makeover. Simply pop out the center panel and fit it with a glass panel. Hopefully these images will give you some inspiration...

I love the look of a crisp all-white kitchen.  The white dishware continues the all-white scheme and adds interest while the glass front cabinets add space to the area.  The ebony wood floor grounds the room while the upholstered barstools adds softness, which is usually lacking in kitchens. Placing your dishware on display forces you, and your family, to be somewhat organized. It's always a good idea to hide the clutter of pots and pans behind closed doors, usually below the counter.

Not only are glass front cabinets functional and attractive, but the look gives the space more pizzazz.  Painting the back of the cabinet green brings the inside of the cabinets into the spotlight and allows the contents to pop.

Displaying fine china behind glass front cabinets presents a feeling of look but don't touch as it shows off a cherished collection.  Glassware, displayed behind glass, sparkles and shines.

Introduce bold hints of color and make a statement.  If your kitchen is mainly white, glass front cabinets are the perfect backdrop for accessorizing with punches of color. The green dishware adds a zing to the collection of white and glass dishware.

Adding panes creates the illusion of a window that you must peek through to discover what lies inside.  If you chose glass front cabinets, make the interiors something worth looking at.

Backed with blue and white chinoiserie wallpaper, the glass front cabinets display a gorgeous collection of chinoiserie china.  The white cabinets have been meticulously edged in blue which adds interest and ties in with the vibrant colored china.

Less purposeful organization gives this kitchen a more casual friendly vibe.  With lots of kids, this look works best for me.  Wood floors and countertops create warmth.  Rattan barstools infuse the space with texture and heighten the casual feel.

Painting the backs of the cabinets a vibrant blue makes a bold statement and lets the contents stand out.  I love the white subway tiled backsplash and honed stone countertops.  The legs on the cabinetry give it the look of furniture.
