Beautiful Bedrooms. Splendid Designers.

Lately I've been drooling over some beautiful bedrooms designed by some of my favorite designers.  I thought I'd share a few...

Designed by Jan Showers, this bedroom is elegant and serene.  I love the chandelier and starburst mirror.  The walls have a bluish tint heightening the peaceful vibe.

The graceful lines of this upholstered headboard are meticulously lined with brass nailheads, giving it that extra finishing detail.  This light refreshing bedroom was designed by none other than Bunny Williams.

This bedroom, also designed by Bunny Williams, gives off that light airy beachy vibe without being thematic or kitschy.  It's crisp, clean lines and understated palette are both elegant and inviting.  I love the tufted headboards and pictures hung in such a way as to bridge the gap between the two beds and tie them together.

The rooms Vicente Wolf designs are always calm and etheral.  This bedroom is no exception.  The soothing color palette and clean lines provide only the necessary decoration without frivolous distractions.  I love that the artwork over the fireplace is hung off center, as if it just landed there, rather than the more deliberate gesture of centering it.

Vicente Wolf's rooms often are so light and airy they appear as though they could float away.  Mirrors are a recurring element, especially leaning mirrors.  This bedroom, as do all the rooms he designs, has a casual ease about it.  You feel as though you could completely relax and your troubles would melt away.

Combining a modern steel four poster bed with a curvaceous french upholstered headboard, this bed creates a romantic focal point.  I love the detailing of the upholstered walls and the use of two different, however similarly scaled, side tables.

This bedroom, designed by Tom Scheerer, combines an eclectic mix of furntiure and decor.  Crisp white walls envelope the space that is infused with pops of orange color.  It's minimalistic, yet full of interest on so many levels.
