Zebra....

Are you as crazy about animal prints as I am?  Adding a touch of zebra to a space heightens the luxe factor and makes it instantly chic.  Here is some eye-candy....

The zebra pillows and shaggy white rug enliven this traditional entryway.  They pack a powerful punch against the restrained color palette.  I love the gold accents against the more casual paneled walls.

Who doesn't love a zebra rug?  It makes a graphic statement in this entryway.  However, I also adore the beautiful wood floor.  It's almost a shame to cover it up.  I love the antique settee and sky high baseboards!

The zebra rug is visible through the round glass coffee table, allowing the stark black and white stripes to add a bold pattern to the space.  It fits in seamlessly with the casual bohemian vibe.

Resting adjacent a roaring fire, two zebra print ottomans strike a chic silhouette.  I love the simple lines of the bullseye mirror above the more detailed lines of the limestone fireplace.  The combined elements make for a simple and elegant, yet graphic composition.

Pairing a zebra pattern with hot pink is not for the faint of heart!  Black and white photos extend the color combination around the room.  The vignette is striking... with the exception of those small elephant statues on the fireplace mantel.  What were they thinking...Isn't that absurd?!?

Two barely-there clear lucite tables rest atop an eye-catching zebra rug.  Limiting the color palette to black and white, with gold accents, allows the patterns, lines and textures to stand out.

Zebra patterning is one thing, but an authentic zebra hide is another!  The authenticity and uniqueness of a real zebra hide is impossible to replicate.  It adds a dash of the exotic to this elegant farmhouse.  Along with the Roman bust and eclectic artifacts, it gives the impression that the owner has enjoyed many far flung travels.

Off-center and layered atop another rug, this zebra rug adds an exotic lavish flair to the room.  The large crystal chandelier, dangling from a ceiling medallion, heightens the decadent feel.

Laying bedside, this zebra rug successfully mingles with a myriad of luxe textures including fur, stone, velvet, silver and crystal.

The pairing of zebra, glass (or lucite) and gold (or silver) is always an alluring combination.  Throw in a few chic accessories and it's an instant hit!

Add some zing to your closet with the addition of a zebra rug!
