Royal Wedding Hats And The Rooms They Inspire?

Hats have become a royal tradition and there were plenty on display at the Royal Wedding.  Among all of the couture outfits and array of dizzying hats were those worn by Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.  Surely the duo took the prize for the most ridiculous looking.   Have you seen anything more comical in your life???  And, how could you even translate the look into interior design? And, why would you want to?  Let's try.... just for the fun of it!

Turquoise and peach are actually a traditional pairing that can make a room look energetic and chic.  Peach was a hot color for decorating in the eighties, but it can be made to look current.

Combined with turquoise and a bolder coral, peach is used in limited quantities.  Turquoise leads the way and creates a fresh serene backdrop.  The bedroom appears soft, romantic and current.  The angular placement of the bed contributes to the casual relaxed feel.

Cream walls and white molding give the eye a place to rest from the dynamic pairing of turquoise and peach.  It also keeps the look up-to-date.

Varying shades of the infamous peach and turquoise can be seen on an array of patterns.  The combination of patterns and subsequent scale provide interest and depth.  I imagine this space in a beach home in a sunny locale.

The clean lines of the crisp white sofa add structure to the space and lend an air of modern-day sophistication.  The stool adds an exotic flair, while the vibrant color combination infuses the space with energy.

I would never have believed that soft turquoise kitchen cabinetry could look chic and stylish unless I had seen this image.  The wood floor and colorful rug ground the space.  The elaborate chandelier is a stunning addition.

The deep turquoise tailored sofa adds a strong structural presence to the room. Combined with deep coral accessories and a crisp white backdrop, the look is bold, modern and sophisticated.

I must say.... I think the interiors are far better than the hats!
