Let's Go!

We're off.... our family that is.  We're headed to Whistler for a week of skiing.  Yahoo!

  I'll now be blogging from Whistler, B.C. Canada.

When you come from a skiing family you spend many hours analyzing snow conditions and planning trips.  These trips offer more fun than a family can possibly imagine! 

 

Let's hope this time we avoid an accident similar to last years when my husband ended up in the Whistler Emergency Room with a concussion after a head-on accident with a snowboarder.  He repeatedly asked the same question "What happened?".

Skiing makes the short list of sports that allow a whole family to participate as a group.  There’s something about sitting side by side in a quad chair, talking and playing games.  We now need two quad chairs to get us all up the mountain.  It is our shared passion and it's even more fun now that the youngest are making fewer "pizzas" and more "french fries".
